How we work
Joomla incidents often come in waves tied to a specific extension or template vulnerability. The cleanup follows the same sequence every time.

Administrator access, SFTP/SSH and database. Full backup into an evidence folder before anything changes.
Core, templates and overrides
Core verified against your version. Templates and html/ overrides inspected for injected PHP, which is the most common Joomla hiding place.
Extensions and database
Installed extensions matched against known vulnerabilities, fake extensions identified, database checked for injected content and rogue super users.
Server layer
Configuration overrides, cron, other accounts, PHP settings.

Frequently asked questions
My site was defaced. Is removing the defacement enough?
No. A defacement is the visible part; the backdoor that allowed it is usually still in a template override or an extension folder. We remove both and document them.
Can you clean an old Joomla 3 site?
Yes. We clean it and contain the known weak points so it can keep running until you plan the upgrade. We will tell you clearly which risks remain on an unsupported version.
Do you work with Joomla hosting providers?
Yes. Hosting providers and agencies have partner rates on the B2B page and can hand us the site directly.
Do you remove the vulnerable extension?
We identify it, show the evidence and recommend. Removing or replacing it changes the site, so it is your decision; if you want us to do it we add it to the scope.
Can you harden Joomla after the cleanup?
Yes. Cleanup + Hardening is €390 in total and includes a verification report. Hardening alone is €300.
